Season Opener Celebration and Pop-Up Saturday

Season Opener Celebration and Pop-Up
Saturday, May 20, 12-4pm at our Studio!

After our Morven in May show in Princeton, like hungry horses running to the barn, we’ll be ready to dole out hugs, stories from the road and Romulus Craft will join in for a Pop-Up Show. If you are lucky enough to be near the St. Croix Pottery Tour, May 12-14…look for this award winning duo’s ceramics. We all pretend Door County is on the way home to their Vermont home and we are honored to host them once again during our Season Opener.  Michael Doerr’s impeccably crafted wooden furniture will be featured as well.

Come over to our Jacksonport Studio for stories from the road! See our latest horse show ribbon (2017 Smithsonian Exhibitors Choice Award voted by our peers!), the ACC/Balvenie Rare Craft finalists barrel head award (Amara Hark-Weber, stunning shoemaker won the grand prize!) and get first dibs on our winter work alongside Romulus’ award winning ceramics!… Read the rest

Artist Talk/ Pop-Up Show

Saturday, March 4, 3-5pm The Española Valley Fiber Arts Center, a vibrant hub for textile artists in the area welcomed us with open arms last year. We appreciate their hosting of our event and introducing us to the nearby Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project. The power of standing in the midst of these sacred marks is as astounding as the effort to preserve and protect them. On our trip we will be looking for like minded weavers to expand our Legacy Project apprentice work and deepen our connection to the rich weaving heritage of the Southwest.
