Extended Placement of Hawks Veil
MOWAhas extended the placement of Hawks Veil (our 9’x12’ tapestry) in their soaring atrium until mid-January after our 3 month exhibition closed November 14, 2016. This is the first time that work has been shown without at least a few inches sitting on the floor. The experience of showing with MOWA has been gratifying on every level, especially as they gave 30 memberships to local Hispanic families through the Casa Guadalupe Education Center welcoming them into the rich and varied programming for children and adults at the museum. We so appreciate all their efforts on our behalf as we saw new people in our studio come directly from MOWA and people from our base discovered a jewel of a museum in West Bend focused on Wisconsin artists.
