Sandra Jo Martinez finds her freedom working on found and gifted surfaces including book pages and Tyvek. In a 40+ year automatic drawing process she calls, “one step up from a doodle”, accessible materials are the foundation of her flow.

Built of hand cut fragments from Sandra’s personal stash held by elastic, this is your invitation to play: add, edit, doodle, note, record…tease out your own story.

Within each you’ll find at least one card made from a print fragment of Sandra’s art with envelope, hand trimmed vinyl decal, pages from Sandra’s Dad’s old books, snippet of a favorite poem, and printed targets stamped *JOY*.

As the sizes increase, the cards get larger and you’ll find more layers of book pages, notepads, even Tyvek primed with acrylic, transparent papers, poems and random block prints inside.
